Bowmore 1973 43 Year Old Description
Distilled at the Bowmore distillery on Islay, the distillery is situated on the shores of Lochindaal and has been producing whisky since 1779 being the first licensed distillery on the island. This expression was drawn from the last six casks 1973 bourbon hogsheads that were left in the No.1 Vaults. It was distilled in May 1973 and matured for over four decades before bottling in 2016. It has been bottled at a strength of 43.2% and presented in a wooden presentation case. Back to top
