Distilled at the Laphroaig distillery on Islay, this single cask release was selected by Barry MacAffer to celebrate William Campbell's retirement from the distillery after 44 years. This expression was distilled in 2010 and laid down for the first 7 years in an American oak ex-bourbon barrel before being transferred to a charred virgin French oak casks for the following 6 and a half years. There were just 299 bottles produced at a strength of 54.5% abv. Back to top
