Distilled on the Isle of Islay at Bruichladdich distillery, Port Charlotte is the name given to the heavily peated whiskies produced by the distillery. This expression was put down to mature in oak for 8 years, spending the at least 6 years in American oak casks before being transferred for finishing to ex-red wine casks from the Pauillac region of France. Part of a limited release, this whisky has been bottled free from chill filtration and artificial colourings at a strength of 56.1% abv. Back to top
