Octomore 2015 5 Year Old Edition 12.2 Description
Distilled on the Isle of Islay at Bruichladdich distillery, Octomore is the name given to the Super Heavily Peated range they produce. This was distilled in 2015, having been malted to 129.7 ppm. The spirit was then put down to mature in first and second fill ex-bourbon casks before spending a period of time in first fill French Sauternes wine casks. Part of a limited edition release, this whisky has been bottled free from chill filtration and artificial colourings at a strength of 57.3% abv. Back to top
