Distilled at the Laphroaig distillery on Islay, this release was bottled by independent bottler Hunter Laing as part of their Old Malt Cask range. This expression was distilled in 2000 and laid down to mature in a refill butt for 16 years before there were just 359 bottles produced at a strength of 50% abv. free from chill filtration and artificial colouring.
