Distilled at The Lakes Distillery in Cumbria, this release is part of the Whiskymaker's Editions series which showcases the distilleries whisky maker's sense of adventure in terms of cask selection, maturation and blending. This edition takes its name, Equinox, it is a celebration of change, reflection & balance. It has been matured in American & European oak Oloroso sherry casks and Calvados seasoned casks before being bottled free from chill filtration and artificial colourings at a strength of 46.6% abv.
