Isle of Raasay Inaugural Release Description
Distilled at the Isle of Raasay distillery in the Hebrides, this is the distilleries inaugural release with it being the first legal distillery on the island after years of illicit distilling. This lightly peated single malt has been laid down to mature for just three years with an initial maturation in first fill Tennessee whiskey casks before being finished in first fill Bordeaux red wine casks. This expression has been bottled at a strength of 52% abv. free from chill filtration and artificial colouring. Back to top
