Buffalo Trace Kosher Wheat Recipe Description
Distilled at the Buffalo Trace distillery, they produced and released a range of Kosher bourbon whiskies. This wheat recipe expression has been created in partnership with Chicago Rabbinical Council (cRc), the Kosher spirit was aged in cask which were specifically designated Kosher barrels. To ensure Passover requirements were met, the barrels were sold to a non-Jewish executive in a ceremony with was witnessed by a representative from the cRc. The spirit was matured for just seven years and bottled at 47% abv. ensure the bottling line was cleaned before and after and that there was no contact with non Kosher spirits. Back to top
