Compass Box The Spice Tree Description
Produced by Compass Box who are producers and bottlers of blended Scotch whiskies based in London. The 'Spice Tree' expression has been created using single malts from three distilleries, Clynelish, Dailuaine and Teaninich, with it being a higher proportion of Clynelish in the blend. The malts were vatted to create a blend which from there was re-casked before being laid to mature for a further two years in their hybrid barrels. The hybrid barrels were made using French oak for the heads and American oak for the bodies. It has been bottled free from chill filtration and artificial colouring. Back to top
