    Vanilla Sweet Oak Spicy
A single grain whisky from Wellington, South Africa, inspired by the Cape Mountains and their natural beauty. Bain's is made from 100% South African Yellow Maize, matured in first-fill bourbon casks for three years, before being transferred to a second set of first-fill bourbon casks for a further 18-30 months for a full, rich flavour.

The nose combines toffee, vanilla and floral notes. The palate brings a hint of spice that's softened by sweet oak undertones. The finish is warm and exceptionally smooth.
Crafted at the James Sedgwick Distillery in Wellington, the name Bain's pays tribute to Andrew Geddes Bain, the man who built the Bainskloof Pass that connects Wellington to the interior of the country in 1853.

    Bain's Single Grain Whisky
I like Speyside whisky, for me this had all the hallmarks of everything that I like in a whisky. I bought it because I wanted to try something other than Scotch, South Africa good start, I love it. Very smooth no peat or smoke some citrus and a creamy feel.
