Balvenie 1999 DCS Chapter 4 Description

This single cask expression from The Balvenie distillery is part of the DCS Compendium Chapter 4 release. Distilled on 1st July 1999 and filled to a refill American oak hogshead to mature for the next 18 years, Malt Master David C Stewart said this expression "is very special for me personally as it's the 25th celebration as The Balvenie Malt Master."The nose has fragrant floral notes with fruity pineapple and vanilla. The palate brings more fresh fruit and sweet toffee with maple syrup. The finish is rich and creamy with a warming spice note.
