This Speyside single malt is part of the much anticipated BenRiach single cask batch release. Distilled in October 1991 and matured in a rum cask for 27 years, this expression has been bottled in 2019 at a natural strength of 50.3% abv. Only 194 bottles have been produced.
The nose has ripe guava and papaya with golden syrup, chocolate cake, almonds and buttermilk. The palate brings tropical fruits with pineapple, mango, guava, mandarin and peach, before an intriguing coconut and grapefruit finish.
