This 21-year-old Speyside single malt from Benromach has spent its life maturing in a duo of first-fill sherry and bourbon casks, before being bottled at 46% abv. This expression is full of Benromach's signature flavours alongside a subtle peated character.
Sweet sherry, citrus and ginger notes fill the nose, alongside a subtle smoke. More smoke and flavours of cinnamon, Seville orange and honey dominate the palate, giving way to baked apples, spices and toffee. The finish has charred oak and soft smoke.
