Distilled at the famed Buffalo Trace distillery in Franfort, Kentucky, the Blanton's Original Single Barrel series is always highly sought-after by connoisseurs and collectors alike. This expression was selected for bottling by renowned independent bottler and spirits merchant, Gordon & MacPhail of Elgin. Matured in warehouse H on rick 1, this expression was bottled by hand at a strength of 46.5% abv (93° proof) on 1st August 2019.

Knowledge Bar

The Blanton's brand was first launched in 1984 and named for Albert B. Blanton, one of the early leaders of the Buffalo Trace distillery. The casks are matured in warehouse H, the only metal-clad warehouse at the distillery, which was constructed by Blanton shortly after the repeal of Prohibition. The metal walls transfer heat quicker than traditional stone warehouses, allowing for a more rapid maturation.
