This 18-year-old single malt was distilled at Balblair in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. Matured in American oak bourbon casks, with a finish in first-fill Spanish oak butts, the late-night expression is rich and autumnal, striking a perfect balance with the bright and fruity character of the distillery. Bottled at 46% abv, free from chill filtration and at natural colour.
Expect aromas of sweet poached pears drizzled in caramel, and a touch of leather. The palate boasts elegant flavours of juicy apricots, seasoned oak and vanilla custard, leading to a long and warming finish of mixed spcies and raisin.
