Golden Dram: Glenfarclas 30 Year Old
Aged for three decades, the exquisite one of one bottling boasts aromas of orchard fruits, cantaloupe and cognac. The palate is outstandingly complex with waves of rich sherry sweetness combining superbly with notes of dark chocolate, coffee beans and cinnamon. Thick sherry notes on the finish, coupled with gentle hints of tobacco and fresh spices.

Glenfarclas is one of the few family run distilleries remaining in Scotland, and it is fiercely committed to principles of tradition and innovation in the field of Scottish malt whisky. They distil the liquid twice in their traditional direct fired stills, and maintain a tight-knit team that take pride in their artisan methods handed down over centuries. Located at the foot of Ben Rinnes, John Grant purchased the distillery in 1865 and it has been owned and managed by six generations of the Grant family since.
