The expression was specially selected by Knockdhu Distillery Manager, Gordon Bruce. All online orders of this single malt come with a beautiful anCnoc branded glass to enjoy your dram in – lovely stuff! This versatile sherry cask matured dram was distilled in 2006 and was bottled in 2022 at 57.6% abv. The expression is free from chill filtration and artificial colouring. Just 216 bottles of this fabulous whisky have been produced. The nose has caramelised sugar, buttery popcorn and tangy citrus fruits complemented with aromatic flavours of spiced fruit cake. On the palate, there are delicate earthy notes, vanilla custard, and creamy dark chocolate with ground nutmeg and candied lemon peel before leading into the full-bodied finish with zingy fresh fruit and a warming spice. The liquid boasts a beautiful dark amber colour.
