New In: Lochlea Our Barley
Lochlea Our Barley is the first edition to the core range of single malts from the up-and-coming distillery. The expression is available to members of The W Club via priority access here today, Monday 18th July.
Sitting alongside their seasonal limited edition bottlings is Our Barley, Lochlea's first core single malt expression. Matured by Production Director John Campbell in three cask types - bourbon, Oloroso sherry and STR - Our Barley is a complex and classy dram. It is free from both artificial colouring and chill filtration.
There are aromas of pear, boiled sweets, fresh cut grass and orange peel before a peppery palate of macadamia nuts and baked rye bread. It finishes up long, orangey and waxy.
Members of The W Club can purchase Lochlea Our Barley here today for £45. The expression will go on general sale on Tuesday 19th July at 12pm.
