Distilled in 1990, only 3,954 bottles have been produced at a strength of 51.2% abv. Matured in a combination of American and European oak, this Speyside Single Malt promises notes of fresh, juicy fruit with almond oil to the fore with leather and hints of smoke developing.
Brora 38 Year Old
Only 2,984 bottles of this Highland Single Malt have been produced at a strength of 48.6% abv. Distilled in 1977, this expression has been matured in American and European oak casks. A smooth sip, particularly at cask strength, lemon peel and wood ash notes layer on sweet caramel before a minty peat develops.
Cambus 40 Year Old
The oldest expression in this year's release, this Single Grain Whisky was distilled in 1975 in the Lowlands. Presented at 52.7% abv, only 1,812 bottles have been produced. Notes of red apple, pineapple and gooseberry sit atop strawberry chews, shortcrust pastry and toffee.
Caol Ila 15 Year Old
Dsitilled in 2000, this Islay Single Malt is available in limited quantities worldwide. Bottled at 61.5% abv, notes of menthol, sharp fruit, malt and toffee give an overall sweet taste. A touch of water brings a softer side, balancing the fruit with salty notes.
The only release without an age statement, this Speyside Single Malt has been matured in American refill hogsheads bringing notes of rosebuds and sweet vanilla. Presented at a strength of 55.7% abv, only 4,932 bottles are available.
Glenkinchie 24 Year Old
This Lowland Single Malt was distilled in 1991 and is presented at a strength of 57.2% abv, producing 5,928 bottles. The nose offers crisp floral, fruit and cereal notes that are magnified by water, while the palate is complex with a drying, bittersweet finish.
Lagavulin 12 Year Old
Another commemorative bottling from Lagavulin in its 200th Anniversary year, this Islay Single Malt is available in limited quantities worldwide. Presented at a strength of 57.7% abv, this bottling is lighter in aroma and texture than recent expressions.
Linkwood 37 Year Old
Distilled in 1978, only 6,114 bottles of this Speyside Single Malt are available. Bottled at 50.3% abv, and rarely available as a Single Malt from the original distillers, this expression offers fresh fruit and floral notes with sweet vanilla and an elegant finish.
Mannochmore 25 Year Old
This Speyside Single Malt was distilled in 1990 and is presented at a strength of 53.4% abv. Matured in rejuvenated casks, notes of vanilla toffee, burnt orange peel and creamy coffee abound. Only 3,954 bottles available.
Port Ellen 37 Year Old
The oldest Port Ellen expression ever released, this 37 year old has been matured in refill American and European oak casks. Only 2,940 bottles are available at a strength of 55.2% abv. Distilled in 1978, this Islay Single Malt offers sweet and smoky notes with warm wood and hessian hints.
