Scotland's small islands – from Arran, Jura and Mull in the West, to Orkney in the North – produce whiskies of various styles. Though, when referring to the Island region, this does exclude the 'whisky capital' Islay, which is a region of its own. Island whiskies differ to one another, as their qualities are born from the individuality of the island itself. They, like the beautiful countryside they spring from, will provide something to suit everyone's taste.

To celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla on the 6th May 2023, some distilleries have released a limited-edition expression to mark the historic day. A royal warrant is given to a company by a reigning Monarch of the British Royal Family to indicate that they are a trusted and valued supplier to the Royal Household. As such, it is considered an extremely personal gesture granted to only to the finest products and services in the British Isles. You may recognise the prestigious coat of arms symbol on everything from Robinsons, to Heinz, to Cadbury. A handful of whiskies have been granted a Royal Warrant, with King Charles himself being famous for his love of smoky Scotch. Lets take a look.
