Scotland: Old Pulteney Distillery Exclusive 13 Year Old

Our Scotland representative is a very special bottle from Old Pulteney distillery; an expression which undertook a long 13-year slumber within an ex-Spanish sherry cask. Located far north in the Highlands, Old Pulteney describes itself as ‘The Maritime Malt’ and was once known as ‘The Manzanilla of the North’, on account of its key-note dry and salty taste. It is a perfect aperitif.

France: Alfred Giraud Harmonie

From France, this triple malt blended whisky from Alfred Giraud was finished in decadent XO Cognac casks. Creator Philippe Giraud is descended from a line of coopers and cognac cellar masters; his great-grandfather Alfred, for whom the brand is named, was the cellar master at a renowned Maison de Cognac for over 30 years!

Wales: Penderyn Portwood

Distilled in Brecon Beacon's Penderyn distillery, Wales' first whisky distillery in over 100 years, this single malt is part of their Gold Collection. Finished in port casks, this particular expression was awarded gold at the 2016 World Whisky Masters.

Ireland: Jameson 18 Year Old 2022

Continuing John Jameson's legacy of triple distillation while staying true to the pot still character he established in 1780, Jameson 18 Year Old is remarkably smooth and perfectly balanced. It’s a unique blend of three signature distillates matured in the finest oak for almost two decades, with a final marrying period of at least 6 months in a fresh American oak barrel - adding a unique complexity and elegance.

Italy: Puni 4 Year Old Batch 1 That Boutique-y Whisky Company

To represent Italia, we have That Boutique-y Whisky Company's inaugural bottling from PUNI Distillery; located at the feet of the Italian Alps. The first to be released from the new distillery, this is part of their wine cask series. This expression was finished in a Pinot Noir cask, resulting in a fabulously sweet and spicy dram. A rare dram - one of 380 bottles!

The Lakes Whiskymaker's Reserve No.5

Located within notable English beauty spot, The Lake District, the Lakes Distillery can be found on the banks of Bassenthwaite Lake, sharing its home with a community of alpacas. Smooth, sweet, and subtler than previous expressions Whiskymaker's Reserve series, No.5 was matured in a combination of Oloroso, Pedro Ximenez, and red wine casks.

The majority of these whiskies can be found within our Six Nations for MND selection; our pick of whiskies which hail from the countries participating in the tournament. We have also partnered up with Work for Good to donate £1 from each sale of the bottles to My Name’5 Doddie – a charity founded by the late Doddie Weir OBE to tackle Motor Neuron Disease.
