Loch Lomond 14 Year Old

This gorgeous dram is The W Club Members' Choice Awards 2023, Whisky of the Year! The 14 Year Old is aged in three varieties of American oak casks, before being treated to a year-long finish in toasted French Limousin oak casks. The result is flavours of spiced apple, soft smoke and vanilla fudge. Gift them only the best this Christmas!

Glen Scotia 15 Year Old

Gently matured in the finest American Oak barrels for 15 years before bottling, this Campbeltown single malt whisky offers hints of vanilla oak on the nose, interwoven with the subtle notes of sea spray and spicy aromatic fruits. Kieran, of The Whisky Shop Paternoster says that this dram is "A perfect example of what Glen Scotia's all about." As a true taste of the former whisky capital of the world, we don't disagree.

Dunvilles PX 12 year Old

The recently revived historic Dunville's Irish Whisky have treated us to a stunning 12 year old single malt, matured entirely in Pedro Ximenez casks. Echlinville Distillery recently brought back the Dunville brand from their 76 years out of buisiness. At one time, the whiskey was termed 'The Spirit of Belfast' and contributed to a booming whiskey train in Northern Ireland. This bottle's design harks back to their glory days, and the expression inside is well worth the hype. Gift them a bit of history.

Starward Single Barrel Red Wine Barrique

This TWS exclusive whisky from Down Under, is perfect for those winter nights. Having been matured in single red wine cask, the dram holds festive flavours of mulled wine and pine needles. The first-rate whisky is from New World Whisky Distillery, a small new venture that holds the title of most awarded distillery of the year at San Francisco World Spirits Competition. Get them a bottle before Starward takes off!

Old Pulteney 15 Year Old

Our warehouse manager John comments that this single malt is 'the perfect dram for a colder day.' And the temperature is definitely dropping! Your recipient can sip this expertly crafted Scotch by the fire as it snows outside the window, tasting festive flavours such as cinnamon, chocolate and fruit cake. A 15-year-old from Highland distillery, Old Pulteney, it has been traditionally crafted for a rich character.

Macallan 12 Year Old Double Cask

An indulgent whisky from The Macallan, this exclusively sherry seasoned expression has been aged for a grand total of 12 years. Maria at our Piccadilly store comments that she 'could drink this whisky all day long.' Festive flavours stand out, from candied orange to toasted panettone, although this is a dram for all seasons. A stunningly crafted single malt that anyone would be proud to display in their home.

Hakushu Distiller's Reserve

From Suntory's mountain distillery, this herbal and gently smoky single malt was matured within the untouched forests at the foot of the Southern Japanese alps. The fresh greenery is evident in the expression, giving it a crisp and vibrant feel that enlivens and liberates the senses. This is a fantastic example of a true Japanese whisky, and would suit any single malt fan wishing to expand their horizons.

Widow Jane 10 Year Old Bourbon

A second stellar bourbon for under £100, Widow Jane hails from Brooklyn, New York. Every bottle of this 10 year old expression has been drawn from a single barrel, meaning that each is truly unique with no two bottles tasting exactly the same. For the person that has everything, gift them something genuinely one-of-a-kind.

Benriach The Sixteen

A much-loved single malt from Benriach, 'The Sixteen' is a step up from their famous 'The Ten' as it has the same cask make-up yet is elevated in richness and complexity by age. Discover a wisp of smoke alongside aromas of baked apples, hazelnut and ginger-spiced apricots, leading to flavours of stone fruits, nutty oak and honeyed malt.
