Matured exclusively in first and second fill ex bourbon casks, this Islay Single Malt from the island's oldest distillery exhibits qualities of both. Married together in small batches and bottled at 40% abv.The nose offers vanilla fudge, peat and sea spray balanced with honeycomb and cinnamon. The palate brings a gentle saltiness with mouth-watering citrus and vanilla, before a wispy smoke on the finish with lime and vanilla aspects.
