This single malt celebrates Bere barley, Britain’s oldest cultivated grain. A tougher grain to work with than the norm, the result is a splendid texture. Unpeated, this was distilled in 2011 and is aged in first fill American oak ex-bourbon casks for 10 years, a mixture of Jim Bean, Jack Daniels and Clermont Springs. Then, Islay spring water is added. This expression is non-chill filtered, and colouring free. Its strength lies at 50% abv, and it is a limited edition release. The nose opens with a bouquet of floral aromas, with hints of citrus, barley, and apricot jam. The taste packs in a delicate array of flavours, with hints of chocolate lime, dried banana chips, apricot and malted bread. On the finish, the coastal air breezes in, a fruity character with a salty salinity arrive, holding right to the end. A fruit-punch. Read More

Returns

If your item is damaged in transit or you receive an item that is clearly different to that ordered, we will arrange for a return via courier and issue a full refund.

To be eligible for a full refund you must contact us to inform us of any issue within 24 hours of receipt. Refunds will be credited back to your original payment method once we have received the returned items.

Please note that any personalised, bespoke or made-to-order items, or items with a broken seal, are non-refundable unless faulty.

Cancellations

If you wish to cancel your order, you must do so within 14 days from the day you received delivery. Items that are bespoke or personalised cannot be cancelled, and will only be returnable if faulty.

In the event of cancellation, the cost of returning your items will be your responsibility and not that of The Whisky Shop. Items must be returned within 14 days from the date of cancellation. Refunds will be processed on receipt of the items.
