Distilled in 1997 at Islay's Bunnahabhain distillery, this limited edition has been matured for over twenty years including some time in Palo Cortado sherry casks, which combines rich Oloroso notes with the crispness of Amontillado. Released in 2018, this expression is limited to just 1,620 bottles worldwide.
The nose offers sweet sherry and dried fruits with some earthy, floral tones. The palate has more sweetness with fruits and rich chocolate alongside bursts of peat and a pinch of salt. The finish brings more peat, with honey-drizzled berries lingering.
