This Bunnahabhain release from Islay was produced for the island's annual Feis Ile festival that was unfortunately cancelled in 2020. Distilled in 2002, this expression was matured for 14 years in hogsheads before being transferred to Madeira sherry casks for three years. Just 1,164 bottles were produced free from chill filtration and artificial colouring.
Sweet and nutty on the nose, this whisky is complex, creamy and slightly spicy. Expect dried fruits, vanilla, berries and orange zest, before a sweet marmalade note in the finish.
