DESCRIPTION

The malt whisky produced at Cardhu has a warmth and cleanliness of taste - often described as silky.
Cardhu is presented in an elegant decanter with a beechwood stopper and is a typical Speyside malt. It is highly approachable - smooth, sweet, mellow and uncomplicated and has good body and length.

KNOWLEDGE BAR

Founded in 1824 by illicit distiller and smuggler John Cumming and rebuilt by his daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Cumming in 1885. The following year, 1886, Elizabeth sold the stills from the old distillery to one William Grant, who installed them in his new distillery - so these second-hand stills created the original Glenfiddich!
