This single cask Clynelish is from the Platinum Old & Rare series of very limited single malts from Hunter Laing & Co. bottled exclusively for The Whisky Shop. Distilled in 1993 and bottled in 2021, this 27-year-old is left free from chill filtration and at a natural cask strength of 48.9% abv. Limited to 121 bottles. Rich, sweet, honeyed aromas are entwined with toffee, fresh blueberry muffin, banana and golden syrup. There is also some Granny Sookers, the traditional Scottish sweeties with a sour grape taste. Over time and with a touch of water you get the classic waxy character often associated with Clynelish - in this one it's candles burning inside pumpkin/halloween lanterns. Lots of honey on the initial taste - quite earthy but freshens up with the zip of gooseberry and kiwi and also some underripe banana. Returns

If your item is damaged in transit or you receive an item that is clearly different to that ordered, we will arrange for a return via courier and issue a full refund.

To be eligible for a full refund you must contact us to inform us of any issue within 24 hours of receipt. Refunds will be credited back to your original payment method once we have received the returned items.

Please note that any personalised, bespoke or made-to-order items, or items with a broken seal, are non-refundable unless faulty.

Cancellations

If you wish to cancel your order, you must do so within 14 days from the day you received delivery. Items that are bespoke or personalised cannot be cancelled, and will only be returnable if faulty.

In the event of cancellation, the cost of returning your items will be your responsibility and not that of The Whisky Shop. Items must be returned within 14 days from the date of cancellation. Refunds will be processed on receipt of the items.
