A peated Irish Single Malt Whiskey from the Cooley Distillery, which is tucked away in the North West tip of Ireland, in County Louth. This is the oldest expression in the Connemara range, which has won numerous awards.
Light and fresh on the nose, some citrus and fruits too. This leads to a sweet taste, rhubard custards balance nicely with earth-like peat and whisps of smoke. The finish is zappy and a little oily, with fruits and smoke.
