Darkness Benrinnes 13 Year Old Pedro Ximenez Cask

An independent bottling from Darkness, this Speyside single malt was distilled at Benrinnes. Aged for 13 years, including time spent in a Pedro-Ximénez sherry octave cask, this single cask expression has been bottled at a strength of 51.1% abv, with each bottle individually numbered.

The nose has chocolate coated peanuts and a touch of coffee bean alongside dates and maple syrup. The palate brings oaty biscuits and rich sherry notes of stewed fruits and cloves, with a sweet note of butterscotch. The finish has a wisp of smoke through rich and lingering sherry notes.
