An independent bottling from Darkness of Dailuaine single malt from Speyside. This 17-year-old expression has been finished in a specially-coopered Pedro-Ximénez sherry octave cask, allowing for huge sherry-bomb notes, before being bottled at a strong 52.7% abv.
Dates, raisins and walnuts fill the nose, before moving into tropical fruits, espresso and more dried fruits on the palate with a hint of BBQ throughout. The finish has waxy orange peel, peppercorn and more espresso.
