February's Digital Drams takes us back to Islay. Brand Ambassador, Charlotte Barker, will take us through the whisky that has been described as the 'King of Islay' - the magnificent Lagavulin.
The tasting will take place on the 9th of February at 7.30pm and will focus on four releases from Lagavulin (listed below).
We will be giving away prizes of the full 70cl bottles on the night; so although the tasting is recorded, make sure you try and join live so as to not miss out on these!
Lagavulin — 'the definitive Islay malt' — is located on the south-eastern shore of Islay and is one of the island's most heavily-peated whiskies. Almost exclusively matured in ex-bourbon casks, it maintains robust, smoky, and maritime notes.
W Club members pay less for this tasting and shipping is included. Each pack will contain 3cl samples of:
- Lagavulin 8 Year Old
- Lagavulin 16 Year Old
- Lagavulin Distillers Edition
- Lagavulin 12 Year Old Special Release 2022
This event is hosted on Zoom. You'll receive a link to the event in your tasting pack and by email prior to the event. If you join before the event is due to start you'll enter the waiting room until being admitted to the tasting with all other participants.
Can't attend on the night? Don't worry! Our events are recorded and the video made publicly available the day after the tasting. The recording can then be accessed via the link in the pack, so you can purchase and enjoy in your own time or give as a gift to be enjoyed any time!
