After our recent trips around the islands, our next Digital Drams takes us to Ireland. Waterford is one of the most talked about new Irish distilleries.
Using 100% Irish-grown barley from individual farms, Waterford whisky showcases a distinct flavour profile of one place and time - with each release crafted to celebrate the unique characteristics of its terroir. On a mission for natural flavour, Waterford are the largest producer of organic and biodynamic whiskies.
The event will take place on a Wednesday, on the 5th of April at 7.30pm, rather than our usual Thursday.
Whiskies sampled in the tasting pack are:
- Waterford The Cuvee
- Waterford Heritage Hunter 1.1
- Waterford Ballybannon 1.1
- Waterford Ballykilcaven 1.2
- And the upcoming Waterford Cuvée Argot
Each pack is £20 including delivery for W Club members in the UK and £25 including delivery for non-W Club members.
This event is hosted on Zoom. You'll receive a link to the event in your tasting pack and by email prior to the event. If you join before the event is due to start you'll enter the waiting room until being admitted to the tasting with all other participants.
Can't attend on the night? Don't worry! Our events are recorded and the video made publicly available the day after the tasting. The recording can then be accessed via the link in the pack, so you can purchase and enjoy in your own time or give as a gift to be enjoyed any time!
