This Highland single malt was distilled in 2008 at Dailuaine distillery. After eleven years in a single sherry butt, this expression was bottled in 2020 by family-run independent bottler Hunter Laing & Co. as part of the First Editions series. Only 480 bottles have been filled at a preferred strength of 46% abv, free from chill filtration and artificial colouring.
Aroma of tea, dried berries and peat fill the nose. The palate has notes of dark chocolate, blackcurrant, oak and gentle smoke. The finish is long with a lingering oak influence.
