This Speyside single malt was distilled in 2009 at Dailuaine distillery. After nine years in a single wine cask, this expression was bottled in 2019 by family-run independent bottler Hunter Laing & Co. as part of the First Editions series. Only 240 bottles have been filled at a preferred strength of 46% abv, free from chill filtration and artificial colouring.
The nose is fruity with apple, plum and raspberry notes to the fore. The palate brings sweet notes of salted caramel, red berries, and rich rhubarb crumble, before a lingering fruitiness in the finish.
