First Editions Laphroaig 2004

Part of the First Editions range of single cask whiskies from independent bottler Hunter Laing & Co., this Islay single malt was distilled at Laphroaig in 2004. Aged for 12 years in a refill hogshead, just 364 bottles were filled in 2017 at a strength of 46% abv, free from chill-filtration and artificial colouring.The nose has peat, bonfire embers and apples. The palate brings sweet and smoky notes of peat, lemon and pepper, before a long and peppery finish with a lingering smoke.
