A fabulous sherry bomb from Tamdhu. This is a highly limited release with just 648 bottles produced. This expression was distilled in 2007 and was laid to rest in a sherry butt where it slumbered until 2022 when it was bottled at a cask strength of 58.8% abv. This single malt is bursting with sweet and fruity flavours. A simply outstanding dram, free from chill filtration and artificial colouring.
On the nose, there are aromas of rich chocolate, baked apples, and wood polish. The palate is sumptuous with thick salted caramel and red berries. The finish is lingering and spicy.
