A 30-year-old single malt from Glen Scotia that was laid to rest in a single sherry hogshead on 21st December 1989 for three whole decades. The liquid has been married together before being bottled at a cask strength of 50.8% abv without chill-filtration. Just 500 bottles are available worldwide, making this a rare and highly sought-after dram.
Aromas of lavender, violets, sea breezes, crunchy green apples, nutmeg and cinnamon fill the nose and are echoed on the palate, alongside candied ginger, honeyed pear, lemon curd and dark chocolate. The finish is long with a roasted sugar sweetness and waves of warming cinnamon spice.
