Distilled at Glenburgie in 1990, this Speyside single malt has been matured for 31 years in a single first-fill sherry butt before being bottled for Gordon & MacPhail's Connoisseurs Choice series. Limited to just 482 bottles, this expression has been bottled in December 2021 at 52.9% abv.
On the nose, there are rich flavours of Christmas cake with notes of clove and dark berries at the fore. The palate is sumptuous with dark chocolate, black cherries, and roasted almonds before leading into the strong and oaky finish.
