This Highland single malt is distilled at Glengoyne, near Killearn, using one of the slowest distillations in Scotland. Matured for 15 years in hand-selected American and European oak sherry casks, including 50% first fill casks, this expression is bottled at a strength of 43% abv.
The nose has sweet lemon and warm toffee popcorn notes. The palate is oily and mouth-coating with sweet citrus giving way to rich walnut and cinnamon spice, before a drying oak note in the finish.
