A 21-year-old Benrinnes that has been specially bottled for the Golden Cask range by the House of Macduff. The liquid was drawn from a single cask that was laid to rest in 1995 for just over two decades, before being bottled in 2017 at 55.8% ABV without chill filtration. Highly limited, just 290 bottles of this single malt have been produced.
The nose is distincively nutty and sweet; sultanas develop further in the palate to bring rich flavours of a pecan pie. A touch of water brings out chocolatey notes, with fresh fruits eventually taking over and creating a fresh, clean finish.
