A 28-year-old Bunnahabhain that has been bottled for the Golden Cask range by the House of Macduff. The liquid was drawn from a single cask that was laid to rest in 1989 for nearly three decades, before being bottled in 2018 at 45.8% ABV and without chill filtration. Highly limited, just 180 bottles of this single malt have been produced.
An extremely gentle herbacaeous quality on the nose with a suggestion of freshly cut mint. The palate is more powerful, well balanced and round in the body with a burst of red fruits: raspberries, strawberries and plums. Wholesome and full finish that lingers on in a velvety aftertaste.
