From across the pond comes this 8-year-old Tennessee whisky from George Dickel Distillery, bottled by Heroes & Heretics independent bottlers exclusively for The Whisky Shop. This expression was distilled in October 2011, spending eight years in American oak before being bottled in August 2020 at 51.0% abv without chill filtration or added caramel colouring. Highly limited, just 251 bottles were produced.  Aromas of mint toffee, tinned peaches and foam banana sweets fill the nose. This whisky is silky smooth on the palate initially, then rises to a warming spice, some iodine with smoke and menthol, and then allows for some cereal notes to shine, alongside popcorn, pecan and sweet syrup. It dries nicely deliciously on the finish with charcoal ash, earl great tea and wood spice. Read More

The Man and His WhiskyBorn 40 years after the signing of the Declaration of Independence, George A. Dickel was an established Nashville merchant when he entered the whisky business. Dickel grew his reputation for selling the smoothest, most mellow spirits in the region. Thus, Geo. A. Dickel & Co. was born and when the Cascade Hollow Distillery opened in 1878 in neighboring Coffee County, George Dickel bought a large share. Returns

If your item is damaged in transit or you receive an item that is clearly different to that ordered, we will arrange for a return via courier and issue a full refund.

To be eligible for a full refund you must contact us to inform us of any issue within 24 hours of receipt. Refunds will be credited back to your original payment method once we have received the returned items.

Please note that any personalised, bespoke or made-to-order items, or items with a broken seal, are non-refundable unless faulty.

Cancellations

If you wish to cancel your order, you must do so within 14 days from the day you received delivery. Items that are bespoke or personalised cannot be cancelled, and will only be returnable if faulty.

In the event of cancellation, the cost of returning your items will be your responsibility and not that of The Whisky Shop. Items must be returned within 14 days from the date of cancellation. Refunds will be processed on receipt of the items.
