DESCRIPTION
This single origin speciality coffee from Ovenbird Roasters Co. in Glasgow is part of the Whisky Coffee Collection. Colombian Rio Negro beans are aged for 10 weeks in sherry casks that were previously used to mature Laphroaig Islay single malt Scotch whisky. The beans are then given a medium roast to ensure a perfect balance between the whisky and coffee flavours. Each bag is 350g.
The taste is imbued with peat, liquorice and barley notes, while the aftertaste brings seaweed, smoke and woody aspects.
