The oldest release from the now lost Littlemill distillery, this Lowland single malt has been aged for four decades in American oak and first-fill bourbon barrels before spending three months in Oloroso sherry casks. Dubbed the 'Celestial Edition', Littlemill 40 Year Old is presented in a stunning display case featuring the star chart of the night the spirit was laid to rest. Each hand-crafted Glencairn Crystal decanter is engraved with its unique bottle number. Only 250 bottles have been produced, each one at a strength of 46.8% abv.The nose has floral burst of honeysuckle and elderflower, before oak, honey, cinnamon and nutmeg.
