A rich and elegant 22-year-old single malt from Loch Lomond crafted to celebrate their collaboration with The Open, currently in its 150th edition and held this year at the 'Home of Golf' at St. Andrews Old Course.
Only 4000 bottles of The Open Course Edition 2022 were created by Master Blender Michael Henry, who decided on an initial maturation in American oak casks followed by a 36 month finish in Haut-Médoc Claret barriques, finally bottling free from chill filtration at 48.2% cask strength.
Aromas of stewed apple, pear and black cherry notes are followed by vanilla, dark chocolate, warming ginger spice, all finishing up with a gentle wood smoke.
