A single vintage, single field, single malt. This Octomore 12.3 is a thoroughly Islay whisky, made from local barley and matured on the island for five years. It spent its maturation in two separate journeys, 75% in ex-American whiskey casks and 25% in PX Solera casks from Jerez. This is malted to 118.1ppm, and is free from chill filtration and artificial colouring. This bottle is a eye-watering 62.1% abv. This dram is a burst of sherried, fruity, and of course, smoky flavours. Seaweed, raisins, charcoal and orange blossom burst from the glass on the nose, followed by aromas of honeysucks, tobacco, milk chocolate, and vanilla. The palate is full of velvety dark chocolate and earthy peat smoke, with the characteristic sherried fruits shining. The peat smoke and fruit dominate the flavours, but there is also subtle notes of sweet pastry and toasted oak underlying. Returns

If your item is damaged in transit or you receive an item that is clearly different to that ordered, we will arrange for a return via courier and issue a full refund.

To be eligible for a full refund you must contact us to inform us of any issue within 24 hours of receipt. Refunds will be credited back to your original payment method once we have received the returned items.

Please note that any personalised, bespoke or made-to-order items, or items with a broken seal, are non-refundable unless faulty.

Cancellations

If you wish to cancel your order, you must do so within 14 days from the day you received delivery. Items that are bespoke or personalised cannot be cancelled, and will only be returnable if faulty.

In the event of cancellation, the cost of returning your items will be your responsibility and not that of The Whisky Shop. Items must be returned within 14 days from the date of cancellation. Refunds will be processed on receipt of the items.
