Old Forester Statesman Description

Inspired by the characters in Matthew Vaughn's "Kingsman: The Golden Circle", Old Forester Statesman is a bold, 95 proof Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky from hand-selected casks in the warmest parts of the Old Forester warehouse.The nose has Devil's food cake, cloves and oak spice with raw vanilla underneath. The palate is buttery with leather before a flash of pepper, cinnamon and sharp citrus. The finish has intense spice and eucalyptus, fading to orange cream and caramel.

This Old Forester expression was inspired by the Statesman secret intelligence agency, the American equivalent to the British agency, Kingsman, in Matthew Vaugn's "Kingsman: The Golden Circle" (2017). In the film, the Statesman use a historic whiskey distillery as a front for their covert intelligence operations.
