Distilled at Speyside's Mortlach distillery in May 2007 and matured in a quarter cask for thirteen years before bottling in September 2020, this single cask expression forms part of independent bottler Hunter Laing & Co's Old Malt Cask range. Only 146 bottles have been produced, each one at a strength of 50% abv.
The nose is sweet with lemon sherbert, bananas and mint. The palate has notes of Highland toffee, red berries and moss before giving way to a long and lingering finish with a crack of black pepper and fruit in the aftertaste.
