This single cask expression from independent bottler Hunter Laing & Co. was distilled in June 2007 at Tobermory distillery on the Isle of Mull. Crafted with the distillery's peated malt barley (known as Ledaig in official bottlings from the distillery), this expression has been matured for 12 years in a single refill butt. Bottled at a preferred strength of 50% abv in September 2019, only 282 bottles have been produced.
The nose has rich peat with sea salt a a pinch of pepper. The palate brings thick peat smoke with lighter notes of lemon, pear and freshly cut grass, before a long and smoky finish.
